Description
Incorporating the technique of sand mixed with glue in the style of popular motifs and embroideries. The work is dated 2008 and is titled “Al-Khudr and the Dragon,” known to Christians as Saint George, the dragon slayer. In Islamic tradition, he is referred to as Al-Khidr. The painting serves as a documentation of a historical popular motif.
